Cycle touring on the Costa del Sol: Specialised transport for bicycles and groups

Malaga, a paradise for two-wheelers

The Costa del Sol is not just about golf. In the spring and autumn months, our roads are filled with professional cycling teams and amateur groups from Northern Europe who come to train. Mountain passes such as the Puerto del León or the coastal roads of Nerja offer spectacular routes.

However, the logistics of cycle touring are complex. Racing bikes are expensive and delicate (carbon, electronic components), and transporting them from the airport to the hotel, or from the hotel to the start of a mountain stage, requires adapted vehicles.

Specialised trailers and security

At Costa del Sol Bus, We understand that the bicycle travels with the passenger. We do not accept bicycles stacked in any way in a luggage compartment.

• Cycle Trailers: We have closed trailers with individual anchorages. Each bike is secured independently, without touching the others, protected from knocks and scratches.
• Stage Transfers: We offer support services for linear routes. We drop off the group at point A (e.g. Ronda) and pick them up with the bikes at point B (e.g. Marbella) at the end of the day.
• Capacity for the team: In addition to bikes, we transport toolboxes, warm-up rollers and bulky sports equipment.
